Mainstream SBU, Summer 2026

The Role

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Scholar Internship Mainstream, SBU to join our Product Management team for the Summer 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 3.5 months in duration. 

 

In this role, you will be involved in mainstream where we are currently introducing new products. This candidate can contribute to project management/engineering roles, working closely with teams in Materials Engineering, Manufacturing, Software, and conducting market analysis to help shape solutions.  

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support product managers and engineering teams in the development and launch of new mainstream product offerings. 

  • Assist with project coordination activities, including timeline tracking, documentation, and crossfunctional communication. 

  • Collaborate with Materials Engineering, Manufacturing, and Software teams to gather technical inputs and translate them into product requirements. 

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities that inform product strategy. 

What We Seek 

  • Software and hardware engineering experience 

  • SolidWorks certified, able to support new product design 

  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges 

  • Excellent teamwork and conflict resolution skills 

 

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year 

  • Engineering  

 

Eligibility 

  • Must be a currently enrolled student 

  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in Mid-May through August 

  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
