Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Logistics Management Analyst Management Analyst – Sustainment. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.

This position is an integral member of a sustainment logistics team responsible for the management of complex spare parts and support assets that enable early warning missile system sustainment. The role requires a strong background in United States Space Force property management, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player and a strong independent contributor, proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable leading logistics activities that directly impact asset availability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inventory models and stock strategies to maximize asset availability within defined budgetary constraints.
• Determine and assign Authorized Stock Levels (ASL) and Reorder Points (ROP) to meet program readiness requirements while managing cost and shelf‑life risk.
• Optimize inventory turnover, monitor usage and demand trends, and support execution of budgetary responsibilities for assigned material portfolios.
• Assist in sales/consumption forecasting and material planning to support program financial and operational goals.
• Conduct supportability and risk analyses to identify potential supply chain disconnects and recommend mitigation actions (e.g., alternate sourcing, repair vs. replace, safety stock adjustments).
• Support procurement activities by providing logistics input, validating requirements, and helping prioritize purchases to align with sustainment posture.
• Conduct disposition or repair activities of material when required.
• Support Bills of Material (BOMs) efforts and associated logistics data are accurate and available to support sustainment activities and scheduled maintenance or modification events.
• Support the stand‑up and maturation of centralized inventory control processes (e.g., C‑ICP), including definition of roles, processes, and performance metrics.
• Integrate with Global Supply Chain and U.S. Government counterparts to align material strategies, resolve issues, and ensure coordinated support to the warfighter.
• Support shipping and handling operations in support of sustainment activities.
• Issue and Receive material utilizing SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems for material management.
• Monitor and track sustainment metrics (e.g., fill rate, backorders, days of supply, not mission capable for supply) and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Interface with internal functional and program organizations (engineering, supply chain, maintenance, finance) and work closely with external customers to resolve issues and communicate status.
• Establish and maintain Item Unique Identification (IUID) program requirements in support of sustainment operations.
• Support configuration and data integrity for logistics records to ensure alignment between engineering configuration and supply support structures.

All work must be performed on-site in Colorado Springs. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Basic Qualifications Logistics Management Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related professional / military experience; OR a Master’s degree and 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience shipping and handling unclassified and classified material.
• Experience working with material management and logistics operations.
• DoD Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data to determine parts applicability and usage.
• Experience with technical specifications and industry standards relevant to sustainment systems.
• Experience with shipping and handling of classified materials.
• Solid understanding of Item Unique Identification (IUID) program requirements and Government property (GFP) Disposition operations.
• Experience with sustainment of weapon system programs.
• Experience integrating with Global Supply Chain organizations and U.S.
• Government logistics counterparts. Experience supporting the stand‑up or operation of centralized inventory control processes (e.g., C‑ICP or equivalent).
• Prior experience as a Government Equipment Specialist or Logistics Manager.
• Certified through the Acquisition Professional Development Program in Program Management and/or Acquisition Logistics.
• Experience working with material management and logistics operations.
• Experience with obsolescence management and supportability analysis.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $94,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
