This agency helps home service businesses dominate their local search results, generate more leads, and grow revenue. You won't just execute tasks, you'll own client relationships end-to-end, from strategy to implementation.

🔑 Your Role:As a Local SEO Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of home service clients across the U.S. You'll diagnose their local search presence, build customized strategies, implement them yourself, and report on results, all while building strong, trust-based relationships with business owners.
This is not a hand-off role. You own the full cycle: strategy, execution, and client communication. You'll manage 8 to 10+ accounts and be directly responsible for driving measurable improvements in local rankings, traffic, and lead generation.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:📊 Client Management & Strategy- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of home service and trades clients
- Conduct client onboarding calls, monthly check-ins, and strategy reviews
- Audit clients' local search presence and build customized SEO strategies
- Translate ranking and traffic data into clear, actionable client reports
- Proactively identify new opportunities to improve client performance
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles
- Implement on-site SEO improvements (primarily on WordPress sites)
- Build and manage local citations and directory listings
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and lead metrics using tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, and Google Search Console
- Communicate directly with U.S.-based business owners with professionalism and confidence
- Coordinate with the web design team on site changes and technical implementations
- Stay current on local SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry changes
- Participate in internal team meetings and ongoing professional development
- 3-5+ years of hands-on local SEO experience
- Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization and management
- Solid understanding of on-site SEO as it applies to small and local businesses
- Experience working with WordPress
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (near-native level required, you will be client-facing daily)
- Genuine enjoyment of talking with clients, keeping them informed, and building relationships
- Ability to work full-time (~45 hours per week)
- Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time zone hours (starting at 7:30 AM ET)
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote setup
- Experience in or strong familiarity with the home service or trades industry (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, garage doors, landscaping, etc.)
- Experience with local rank tracking tools (BrightLocal, Whitespark, etc.)
- Familiarity with Google Local Services Ads (LSAs)
- Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency setting
- Background in client reporting and data storytelling (GA4, Google Search Console)
