Position Summary:  

The Loc8 program, part of Pax8, offers a unique opportunity for partners to refer telecom solutions to their customers and earn residual commissions for the lifetime of the contracts. With access to over 300 vendors, our program is poised for growth. We are seeking an exceptionally driven sales professional to manage the sales cycle, identify prospects, and close new business, driving revenue and increasing Loc8's market share within the Pax8 MSP ecosystem.  

The Loc8 Channel Manager works closely with our MSP partners to get them into the Loc8 program and optimize their experience within the Pax8 ecosystem. Key responsibilities include building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned sales territory. The role also involves providing technical knowledge and opinions on proper vendor selection based on customer challenges, managing the onboarding process, supporting partners throughout their lifecycle, and facilitating communication between partners and our internal teams. This position is crucial for enhancing our partner relationships and maximizing growth for Loc8.  

The Channel Manager collaborates with internal teams to align partner strategies with our business objectives and enhance our market position. They are expected to utilize the Pax8 sales methodology and manage a 30/60/90-day sales funnel. 

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to): 

Takes ownership and manages sales cycle, identifying prospects and closing new business with the primary goal of driving revenue and increasing Pax8 market share.  Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.  Utilizes the Pax8 sales methodology and manages a 30/60/90-day sales funnel.  Builds relationships with partner sales teams and other departments to strategize new sales opportunities.  A team player that is accountable for results and consistently achieves revenue targets.  Identifies and understands the customer's business objectives and serves as a cloud technology expert providing business solutions to resolve the prospect's pain points.  Manage the onboarding process for new partners and ensure a smooth transition into the Pax8 ecosystem.   Support partners throughout their lifecycle, providing guidance and assistance to maximize their success and satisfaction.   Lead and develop partner enablement programs to enhance partner capabilities and market penetration, setting clear objectives and KPIs.   Serve as the initial point of contact for escalation management and triage issues effectively.   Facilitate communication and collaboration between partners and internal teams to streamline workflows and optimize systems.   Monitor and report on partner performance metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.   Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring continuous engagement and support.   Assist with various quarterly projects and marketing initiatives to drive partner growth and engagement.   Collaborate with sales and strategic partnership teams to align partner strategies with business objectives.   Provide regular updates and reports on program performance and opportunities for improvement.   Travel to partner offices and events within defined territory. 

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies: 

  • At least three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in sales or partner management in the technology or telecommunications industry.  
  • Proven experience in partner enablement or management, preferably in a cloud technology distribution environment.  
  • Excellent understanding of technology and telecommunication services with the ability to speak to these products confidently.  
  • Strong intellectual abilities and creative problem-solving skills to foster partner growth and educational opportunities.  
  • Proven track record of servant leadership and customer service, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.  
  • Experience in negotiation and drafting of technology/telecommunications transactions.  
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners.  
  • Goal-oriented with a strong bias towards action and tangible results.  
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.    

Required Education & Certifications: 

  • B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience. 

Work Environment: 

Professional office environment.  Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, printers, and filing cabinets. Remote and/or hybrid work at Pax8 requires all employees to have adequate secure and private internet service. 

Physical Demands: 

A sedentary role that primarily involves sitting/standing. 

Travel Requirements: 

Infrequent travel (<10%) is expected of this position. 

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a base salary of $78,829.00 and OTE of $121,275.00
