Position Summary
We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer & LMS Content Architect to lead the redesign of our training infrastructure and content library. This role will be responsible for rebuilding all core learning materials and establishing structured learning journeys across service lines. You will bring hands-on experience with LMS platforms, instructional design expertise, and a deep understanding of adult learning theory to help us create a blended learning ecosystem—balancing instructor-led and self-directed modules for our hourly and salaried teams.
Key Responsibilities:
LMS Design & Implementation
- Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to configure and launch a new LMS platform.
- Develop taxonomy, user roles, learning paths, and tracking/reporting structures.
- Integrate LMS with HRIS and productivity tools (e.g., ADP, Microsoft Teams).
Learning Path Development
- Build structured, role-specific learning journeys for each line of business (e.g., Complex Claims, Denials, Underpayments).
- Map competencies and performance metrics to each journey.
Instructional Design & Content Rebuild
- Lead the redesign of existing content for relevance, accessibility, and learner engagement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to script, storyboard, and produce microlearning videos, eLearning modules, job aids, and hybrid workshops.
- Ensure consistency across modalities (live facilitation, digital, asynchronous).
Team Development
- Coach and support internal team members who are gaining experience in content creation and delivery.
- Serve as the L&D subject matter expert for best practices in design, delivery, and evaluation.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Design feedback and data loops to assess effectiveness and impact of training.
- Use metrics to drive iterations and content updates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, L&D strategy, or LMS implementation.
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Docebo, Absorb, Cornerstone, Litmos, or similar).
- Strong understanding of SCORM, xAPI, mobile learning, and GenAI-enabled content tools.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale training transformations or content libraries.
- Experience in a healthcare, RCM, or compliance-heavy environment preferred.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to coach and guide junior team members in content development.
