What You’ll Be Doing

Having grown substantially in the last two years with no sign of slowing down, we are looking for a dynamic Lifecycle Marketing Manager. This person will own and build our lifecycle marketing efforts from the ground up. In this role, you will design and execute data-driven strategies to engage, retain, and upsell our customers while driving key metrics such as usage rates, customer retention, and lifetime value. This position offers the opportunity to shape the customer journey, develop impactful multi-channel campaigns, and optimize performance through actionable insights and personalized marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lifecycle Strategy Development

  • Build out and own BeatStars’ lifecycle marketing flow by designing, implementing, and continuously refining a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy to drive user engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities. Focus on onboarding, retention, and re-engagement for both creators and their audiences.
  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing workflows and strategies to engage, retain, and upsell customers and increase usage rates.
  • Build on BeatStars’ understanding of our customer journey, identify key touchpoints, and design targeted campaigns for each stage.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel campaigns, leveraging data to understand how each channel - including email, SMS, social media, and website (in-app messaging, pop-ups, blog) - complements and amplifies the others for maximum impact.
  • Create and manage personalized, data-driven content tailored to BeatStars’ customer segments, delivering the right message at the right time via the right channel.
  • Test, iterate, and optimize campaigns to increase customer satisfaction, engagement, activation, retention, and lifetime value.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze customer data to understand and report on segmentation nuances, customer behavior, and trends.
  • Track campaign performance and generate actionable insights to support the optimization of BeatStars' lifecycle marketing motion that will ultimately help BeatStars retain and engage more customers, re-engage old customers, and turn existing customers into brand loyalists.
  • Develop KPI-driven strategies, content, and campaigns.
  • Drive usage rates, renewal rates, and engagement rates, and increase member lifetime value through creative messaging, targeting, and personalization strategies.

Retention & Loyalty Programs

  • Design and manage customer retention initiatives.
  • Monitor churn rates and implement strategies to reduce attrition and build a sticky programmatic experience.
  • Manage and improve customer referral programs.

Internal

  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to support, manage, and improve the customer lifecycle journey.
  • Support additional marketing team functions as needed.

What you will need:

  • A solid 5+ years under your belt crafting lifecycle marketing flows, customer retention, or a related role, ideally from B2C2B/marketplace/creator platforms.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining lifecycle infrastructures in a CRM (ideally OneSignal or equivalent) and other marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies, Google Analytics, and/or other analytical tools/platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation and  behavior analysis
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in interpreting data and deriving actionable insights from performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, CRM tools, and campaign optimization.
  • A self-starter attitude who can take extreme ownership with a bias for action.
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices with strong written and verbal communication to craft compelling messages and work cross-functionally effectively.
  • You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves, learn new things, and take the lead on exciting projects.

Compensation:

This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE is just one component of our total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for additional benefits and perks BeatStars has to offer.

Preferred locations to hire are in the United States. This is a US-based role only. No other locations will be considered at this time. The remote salary range for this role is as follows: $94,000-$122,000 USD

BeatStars is a globally distributed team. To support collaboration across regions, we operate with core working hours designed to ensure meaningful overlap across teams:

Core Working Hours by Location:

  • PT (US): 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • CT (US): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • ET (US): 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • GMT+1 (UK & Portugal): 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • GMT-3 (Brazil): 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • GMT+2 (South Africa & Germany): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

While we generally have the flexibility to build an 8-hour work day, we ask for flexibility during core hours, as from time to time, it may be needed to attend global calls that cover more than 2 time zones during these hours. We ask folks to schedule events when possible, at least 3 working days in advance.
