About the role
As Redesign continues to scale domestically and internationally, we are adding a Legal Operations Coordinator to our legal team to support the growing volume of customer and vendor engagements. This role manages customer and vendor onboarding, coordinates export compliance for international hardware shipments, and handles first-pass review and negotiation of NDAs and Statements of Work. You will work closely with Corporate Counsel, Sales, Finance, and Engineering to maintain consistency across Redesign's intake and contracting workflows as the business grows. This is an ideal fit for someone with VAR or IT solutions provider experience who understands channel dynamics, OEM partner programs, and the operational pace of a technology reseller environment.
What you'll do
Customer & Vendor Onboarding
- Gather technical and environmental information during customer intake, including current infrastructure details, delivery requirements, and site-readiness data, working with Sales and Engineering to ensure the discovery process is complete before handoff to delivery
- Verify account details, contacts, shipping information, and payment terms for new engagements, particularly hardware orders routed through OEM or distributor deal registrations
- Coordinate with Finance on credit terms and payment timelines ahead of order fulfillment
- Run Redesign's deal intake checklist, flagging non-standard liability terms, jurisdictional requirements, government/SLED compliance obligations, or engagements
- Set expectations with customers and internal stakeholders on onboarding timelines, documentation requirements, and delivery prerequisites
- Support the vendor onboarding governance process, ensuring new OEM and partner relationships follow Redesign's internal approval workflow
- Conduct initial review of partner and vendor agreements, flagging non-standard terms for Corporate Counsel
- Maintain the partner agreement tracker across OEM and distributor relationships
Export Compliance & International Shipping
- Coordinate export compliance for international hardware shipments following Redesign's established shipping guide and logistics partner workflows
- Verify ECCN classifications with OEM compliance teams, conduct restricted party screening, and gather required end-use certifications
- Track country-specific import documentation requirements and manage ATA Carnet records for temporary equipment exports
- Escalate shipments requiring BIS export or re-export licenses to Corporate Counsel
Contract Review & Negotiation (NDAs and SOWs)
- Review, redline, and negotiate NDAs and Statements of Work
- Manage the lifecycle of NDAs and SOWs from intake through execution, including amendments and renewals
- Track expiration dates, renewal windows, and amendment requests
- Confirm signed SOWs are in place before delivery activity begins
- Escalate non-standard terms or positions outside playbook authority to Corporate Counsel
- Maintain accurate contract records in the contract repository
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years of experience in contract administration, sales operations, vendor management, or a similar operational role at a VAR, IT solutions provider, or managed services company
- Familiarity with the channel model, OEM partner programs (Dell, Cisco, Palo Alto, Broadcom, etc.) and technology reseller workflows
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent onboarding and contract processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Direct experience at a VAR or IT solutions provider in the Dell, Arrow, or TD Synnex ecosystem
- Exposure to EAR/ITAR export compliance, ECCN classifications, or international hardware logistics
- Experience with government/SLED procurement requirements and contract vehicles (NASPO, OMNIA, NCPA)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experie
