Job Title
Legal & Compliance Operations LeadThe Global Legal & Compliance Operations Lead will lead operational excellence across the Global Legal & Compliance Department, ensuring efficiency and strategic alignment with the business goals of CoorsTek. This role will oversee department technology, vendor management, budgeting, process improvement, and knowledge management. A key responsibility includes coordinating the introduction and integration of legal technologies across international subsidiaries, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and sufficient compliance with local requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of legal and compliance workflows in a global context, and a strong ability to connect the department’s operational work and workflows with the organization’s strategic direction.Roles & Responsibilities:
Legal & Compliance Technology
• Implement and manage legal and compliance technology platforms (e.g., contract lifecycle management, entity management, e-learning platforms, whistleblower helpline, etc.).
• Work closely with relevant departments and international subsidiaries to lead pre-work coordination.
• Drive adoption of AI-based tools and systems for research, contract review, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and data security.
Contract Repository & Data Management
• Oversee the CoorsTek contract repository, including data entry, auditing, and reporting, to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control and resolve data deficiencies.
Vendor & Outside Counsel Management
• Build and maintain a centralized register of department external service providers, including outside counsel and customs brokers.
• Manage relationships with external service providers, including tracking performance metrics to ensure accountability and measurable value.
Financial Planning & Budget Oversight
• Manage the department’s processes for invoicing, budgeting, and spending analytics.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking and spend analysis.
• Partner with Finance to produce actionable reports.
Compliance
• Support risk and compliance programs, ensuring auditability and regulatory alignment.
• Develop and maintain variety of compliance resources, including online trainings, quick reference guides, forms, and decision-making flowcharts.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with company-wide records retention policies.
Litigation Management
• Lead response to litigation related matters, including processing of subpoenas and garnishments.
• Manage and optimize litigation hold activities, including coordinating with IT to ensure timely identification and preservation of relevant data across systems.
Entity Management
• Maintain and audit corporate records for domestic and international entities, including annual reports, entity data sheets, minute books, and other governance documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure timely local jurisdiction filings across for domestic and international legal entities.
Knowledge Management
• Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base of policies, standard operating procedures, templates, and precedent agreements.
• Ensure accessibility and usability across the department and broader company by overseeing knowledge management tools and databases (e.g., company Intranet, MS Teams, network folders).
Process Optimization
• Map and refine department and global workflows to improve speed and consistency.
• Develop self-service tools, playbooks, and templates for routine tasks, such as contract review and compliance reporting.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
• Align department operations with company goals and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate legal and compliance processes across other company departments.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance and turnaround times.
• Lead change management initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred.
Experience:
• 6–10 years of experience in legal or compliance operations, project management, or consulting.
• Experience with legal and compliance technology platforms.
• Strong financial acumen and data literacy.
• Excellent communication, organization, and change management skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels within and outside the department, with strong influencing skills to realign priorities in support of the department’s and company’s strategic direction.

Target Hiring Range
Annual Salary: USD 103,040.00 - USD 136,013.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
