People and Culture Department

The People and Culture (P&C) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. Our P&C team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in many organizations where P&C functions are limited to administrative oversight, our P&C professionals are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house expertise, our P&C team can align long-term organizational sustainability with innovative P&C practices and cost-effective strategies. This alignment ensures that our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company's success. Each member of our P&C team plays a pivotal role in making high-impact decisions, resulting in a more dynamic and productive work environment.

Position Overview

This role can be based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Quincy, WA; Santa Clara, CA; Ashburn, VA or based remotely in the US.

We are seeking a highly skilled LMS Administrator to implement, manage and optimize our Learning Management System (LMS) to support enterprise-wide learning initiatives. This role will be responsible for system implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, user management, reporting, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with LMS administration, a strong understanding of learning technologies, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our digital learning ecosystem.

Essential Job Functions

LMS Administration & Support:

  • Collaborate with L&D leadership, stakeholders, and P&C systems operations teams to implement a new LMS for Vantage.

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the LMS, including system configuration, user access, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Ensure seamless integration of the LMS with other enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, Talent Management Systems, Content Providers, and Single Sign-On).

  • Manage course uploads, learning paths, certifications, and compliance training requirements.

  • Provide end-user support and training for learners, managers, and content developers.

Content & System Optimization:

  • Work closely with program managers and LXDs to upload, test, and optimize SCORM, xAPI, and other digital learning content.

  • Maintain system functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with LMS vendors for escalated support.

  • Monitor system performance, user engagement, and data integrity, ensuring a smooth learning experience.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop and generate reports on course completion, compliance training, and learning engagement metrics.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on learning data to improve training effectiveness.

  • Automate reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely data collection.

Compliance & Security:

  • Ensure the LMS meets regulatory, data privacy, and security requirements.

  • Maintain records for audits, compliance training, and certifications.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in LMS security and learning technology.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Partner with P&C, IT, L&D, and business leaders to align LMS capabilities with organizational learning goals.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements, integrations, or new learning technologies to improve the learner experience.

  • Stay current on emerging learning technologies, tools, and best practices.

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience in a global enterprise environment with a large user base.

  • LMS migration or implementation experience.

  • Certifications in LMS administration or learning technologies., etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, HR, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience administering an enterprise LMS (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Docebo, Moodle, etc.).

  • Expertise in SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards.

  • Strong understanding of SSO, APIs, and LMS integrations with other enterprise systems.

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of compliance training requirements (e.g., OSHA, GDPR, SOC 2).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support end users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
