The opportunity

The Learning Insights & Impact Consultant supports the advancement of Talent Capability and Learning’s learning insights, evaluation, reporting, and operational effectiveness practices to support data-informed decision-making and workforce capability development across the university. 

 

This role partners with Talent Capability and Learning teams, university stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to support evaluation approaches, reporting strategies, and insight generation that inform strategic priorities and organizational outcomes. The Consultant is responsible for collecting, evaluating, visualizing and interpreting learning and organizational data to identify trends, improve learning effectiveness, and support continuous improvement across Talent Capability and Learning initiatives. 

 

The Learning Insights & Impact Consultant serves as an internal partner by supporting stakeholder engagement, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, and advancing the consistency and quality of evaluation and reporting practices. 

 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of learning insights (to include intake and needs assessments), evaluation, reporting, and operational effectiveness practices across Talent Capability and Learning, leveraging approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools where appropriate.  

  • Partners with TCL Learning Experience leaders and TCL Center of Excellence team members to support needs assessment, learning evaluation, and reporting activities that inform learning effectiveness and organizational priorities. 

  • Collect, evaluate, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) to support analysis and synthesis.  

  • Support the application and design of established learning evaluation methodologies (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model, Phillips ROI Methodology) to measure learning effectiveness and inform continuous improvement 

  • Support the maintenance of evaluation approaches, surveys, reports, dashboards, and insight summaries. 

  • Develop and deliver recurring reports and visualizations that provide visibility into learning performance, engagement, and outcomes. 

  • Serve as a point of contact for key platforms, including Qualtrics and Workday, and support reporting and learning system capabilities across Power BI and Brightspace (and other LMS). 

  • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations that support decision-making and continuous improvement. 

  • Apply systems-thinking to understand the relationships between learning initiatives, processes, and stakeholder needs, and to identify improvement opportunities. 

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized processes, documentation, and reporting practices. 

  • Support operational activities related to learning systems, reporting tools, and evaluation processes. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including People Analytics, People Team Technology and Business Analytics, to support data integrity and reporting alignment. 

  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and stakeholder experience. 

  • Support Talent Capability and Learning initiatives, university priorities, and cross-functional projects as assigned. 

  • Foster collaborative relationships and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-informed decision-making. 

  • Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role. 

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Minimum of three years of experience in learning and development, analytics, reporting, organizational support, or related areas. 

  • Experience collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data to support insights and decision-making. 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. 

  • Experience working with reporting tools, survey platforms, learning systems, or similar technologies; such as Qualtrics, Brightspace, Compass(other LMS), Power Bi and Workday 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $58,455.00 - $93,546.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $64,593.00 - $87,391.00.
