About the Position:

The AI Strategy & Adoption Leader will lead the design, rollout, and ongoing success of GadellNet’s AI transformation program, starting with the 90-Day AI Adoption initiative. In the initial phase, this leader will be hands-on in delivering consulting and advisory services to clients - guiding them through AI strategy, implementation, and change management. As the program scales, the focus will shift toward empowering client teams, optimizing operational processes, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader with experience in digital transformation, change management, and practical AI implementation: preferably in SMB, mid-market and non-profit sectors. This position reports to the Chief Experience Officer.

This leader will be the linchpin for transforming our clients’ approach to AI, making it practical, measurable, and sustainable. The right candidate will empower teams, deliver real business outcomes, and position the company as an industry leader in AI-enabled modern work.

Key Responsibilities:

Consulting & Advisory Delivery:

  • Directly deliver consulting and advisory services to clients during the launch and early phases of AI adoption programs, including needs assessment, strategy development, and hands-on guidance.
  • Serve as the primary advisor for clients, ensuring tailored solutions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Transition delivery responsibilities to internal champions and consulting teams as adoption matures and scales.
  • Work closely with GadellNet’s technical experts and consulting teams to support the AI readiness and cybersecurity parts of client projects.
  • Support the CXO and Sales Directors in co-selling efforts to close new business.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the client’s AI adoption roadmap, starting with the 90-Day program.
  • Align AI initiatives with business goals, operational efficiency, and ROI targets.
  • Serve as the external and internal champion for AI, driving cross-functional collaboration and change management.

Program Delivery:

  • Oversee all phases of the 90-Day AI Adoption Program: delivery, training, tool development, and scaling.
  • Ensure clients receive hands-on training and build AI-powered workflows that scale.
  • Track and report on program outcomes, including time saved, process improvements, and adoption metrics.

Operational Excellence:

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for AI in small businesses and non-profits.
  • Implement best practices for data readiness, security, and compliance.
  • Lead pilot projects, measure baseline metrics, and deliver evidence-based recommendations for scaling.

Team Enablement & Change Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor internal “AI Champions” to sustain adoption and drive innovation.
  • Design and deliver ongoing education programs to build AI fluency across our client base including speaking at industry events.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, ethical AI use, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate program goals, wins, and lessons learned to executives and staff.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and compliance teams to ensure successful integration of AI tools.
  • Engage with external partners, vendors, and industry groups to stay ahead of AI trends in SMBS and non-profits.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in digital transformation, program management, or operational leadership (SMB, non-profit and mid-market)
  • Proven track record delivering technology adoption programs with measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, automation platforms) and data-driven process improvement.
  • Experience leading change management and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with compliance, data governance, and security best practices.
