Role in nutshell:

As a Lead/ Senior Lead - Marketing Design, you are responsible for setting the design direction across multiple initiatives partnering closely with stakeholders across Design, Product, Marketing and Engineering. An in- depth understanding of how software products are developed and tested across devices, OS & browsers would be essential in addition to having a constant focus on raising the overall product experience with specific attention to the visual and interaction design practice. You are also responsible for developing and leading a team of high performing designers. 

Desired experience:

• Preferably 7+ years of relevant work experience in Interaction Design, UI/UX design or Product design. Alongside a strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.

• Experienced in working on SaaS products.

• Have grown/ managed a team of high performing designers

• Have had experience leading mid to large scale Website redesign/rebranding efforts

• Experience working with international teams.

• Bachelors/ Masters degree in Design/ Computer Science would be an
  advantage.

What will you do?

• Working closely with other designers, Marketing, Product & engineering partners in researching how our products are being used, identifying opportunities, defining design approaches and iterating on how our product features and benefits are communicated.

• Evolving design standards, documentation, and processes alongside your team members to further our design practice & efficiency in delivery.

• Strengthen the Primary and secondary research practices

• Incorporating feedback loops and user testing practices.

• Shape & execute on the design strategy in collaboration with Product & Marketing managers

• Bring consistency across the web platform in collaboration with the Marketing teams.

• Collaborate: Work with other members of the Design, Product and Marketing teams to help them deliver great work and outcomes collectively.

• Managing Design Delivery: Planning and tracking design delivery in collaboration with other stakeholders such as Product, Marketing & Engineering.

• Validating performance of design solutions and redefining approaches, processes as necessary.

• Drive and participate in activities that are aimed at developing the culture at BrowserStack - , Hiring, Team engagement activities,expanding the community presence of Design@BrowserStack.

• Developing talent: Mentoring/ coaching designers and developing next level leadership
