Job Description: (Contingent Upon Award)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer to oversee test strategy, planning, and execution for a large-scale digital modernization program supporting the U.S. Army. The Lead Test Engineer will play a key role in applying Agile testing practices, defining acceptance criteria, and leading interoperability and system-level testing. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership in Agile environments, and hands-on experience with Salesforce solution testing.

Basic Requirements:  

  • B.S Degree
  • 5+ years applying Agile methodologies and tools on IT development programs, including defining and testing user story acceptance criteria.
  • 5+ years converting user stories and acceptance criteria into test scripts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and communicate effectively with Product Owners, Developers, and Senior Leaders.
  • 10+ years of acquired knowledge in planning, directing, and managing interoperability testing (interfaces, data quality, etc.).

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience serving as a Test Lead on Salesforce implementations.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integration into DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Prior experience in Army or DoD environments, especially in modernization programs.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the Lead Test Engineer will:

  • Apply Agile methodologies and tools to testing, including defining and validating user story acceptance criteria.
  • Convert user stories and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test scripts and test cases.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Senior Leaders to facilitate research, analysis, and test planning.
  • Lead the planning, direction, and execution of interoperability testing, including interface validation and data quality assurance.
  • Oversee Salesforce solution testing, ensuring system functionality, reliability, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Provide leadership as Test Lead, ensuring consistent quality practices across development teams.
