Job Description SummaryThe Tier 1 Supplier Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing supplier operations to ensure seamless delivery, effective demand translation, and production readiness.   • Define, manage, and improve sourcing strategies at the part family and supplier level.
  • Manage source transitions to new suppliers, including multi-year and multi-site engagements.
  • Lead communication and responses to all suppliers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Absorb total demand profiles from all end items
  • Translate total demand into level production schedules within supplier operations.
  • Collaborate with Site Materials Leaders, external S&OP, forecasting, and product line teams to identify and resolve constraints.
  • Analyze production area capabilities and total capacity to ensure alignment with demand.
  • Manage loop design, input plans, delivery schedules, return store levels, SWIP, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Site Materials teams to define and implement production system elements and set the pace for upstream supply chain operations.
  • Oversee external WIP, supplier commitments, and re-commitments to ensure delivery targets are met.
  • Lead projects with impact on business operations and strategy.
  • Communicate complex messages effectively to build consensus and influence stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement team metrics and reporting to support Part Family Bowler metrics and overall team performance.
  • Use technical expertise and data analysis to make informed decisions and solve moderately complex problems.
  • Take a new perspective on existing solutions and contribute to strategy and policy development.
  • This role may require travel of 10-25%.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited  college or university (or a high school diploma / GED) Minimum of 4 years in supply chain management, operations, engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of supply chain management, operations, engineering or related field experience

The salary range for this position is $94,400.00 - 125,900.00 Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
