What You’ll Do:

- Maintain and improve services that power Commerce’s Pricing Engine.

- Fix bugs and build features to enhance the Pricing Engine.

- Build and maintain pricing-related APIs (REST and GRPC).

- Write end-to-end tests to validate pricing behaviors.

- Mentor and help engineers become more productive by removing blockers.

- Drive the technical vision for the Pricing Engine.

- Produce technical documentation of workflows related to the Pricing Domain

- Work closely with product managers and other engineers to gather requirements and develop the team’s roadmap.

Who You Are:

- 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer

- Experience developing in Scala, PHP a plus

- Able to dive in quickly learn a new domain

- Attention to detail

- Familiarity with creating end-to-end test suites. We use Playwright with TypeScript.

- Experience with evolving/scaling high throughput applications

- Able to lead the team in project discovery, design, and implementation

- Desire to work in a collaborative, open environment on an Agile team as a contributor and mentor

- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
