What you’ll do:

  • Design and implement distributed systems that communicate via asynchronous messages and event streams using platforms such as Kafka and Azure Event Hubs.
  • Develop and maintain applications with .NET Core, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Lead efforts in defining and maintaining REST APIs and RESTful services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware and systems engineering, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Ensure system reliability and maintainability through robust design and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in encryption algorithms and cybersecurity to enhance system security.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to software development best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development and apply them to enhance our software applications.
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 15%

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline) or equivalent in years of relevant work experience
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, including experience developing in C#/.NET, with a strong emphasis on .NET Core.
  • Extensive experience with event-based systems and architecture.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain customer-facing, cloud-based production software on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with code management and repositories such as GIT and Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience deploying products leveraging these methodologies.
  • Team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and goals
  • Excellent communication skills with technical audiences as well as non-technical.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
    • Interest in mTLS and cybersecurity technologies. If you are eager to learn and grow in this area, we provide opportunities for skill development.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.  

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $123,700 - $198,650. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. 
  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
