  • Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Engineering Managers to evolve platform architecture, scalability, and reliability
  • Partner with product, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable data solutions
  • Own delivery outcomes in ambiguous or cross-functional initiatives, ensuring clarity, accountability, and execution
  • Promote a culture of quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the team

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including technical leadership or lead experience
  • Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EMR, clinical datasets) required
  • Strong proficiency with modern data tools and AWS (or other cloud platforms) required
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills, with a focus on testing, observability, and maintainable code required
  • Proven track record building and owning scalable data platforms or infrastructure
  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), data governance/quality, and migrating legacy systems to scalable architectures
  • Deep expertise in system design, data modeling, and scalable data architecture
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive technical decisions across teams
