About the role
ReUp Education is looking for a Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our prod ucts. In th is role, you'll guide the QA team and lead the development of scalable testing strategies across both manual and automated processes.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, oversee the full QA lifecycle, and drive improvements in tools, systems, and workflows. This role is key to ensuring that as our platform grows, we maintain excellent product quality and performance for our users.

What you'll do
As our Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

  • Lead, mentor, and support our QA team.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA processes, methodologies, and standards.
  • Design and manage testing strategies across manual and automated workflows.
  • Build test plans, write and execute test cases, and track bugs to resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to define testing needs early in the development cycle.
  • Drive continuous improvements in QA tools, processes, and team operations.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA and help scale our systems.
  • Manage QA resources, including planning and allocating work, monitoring team performance, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA experience, including leading QA projects or teams.
  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Playwright, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.

Location
This hybrid role is based in Austin, TX, with 2-3 in-office days per week.
