About the RoleAs a Lead PLM Application Developer, you will be designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise software applications in a .NET, Microsoft SharePoint, and SQL based environment. You'll prepare technical requirements documentation, review and create design documents for enterprise business application development projects, and fulfill requested changes, enhancements and updates to existing applications. Additionally, you'll provide troubleshooting and diagnostic support for assigned applications in support of users and identified issues and provide remediation of identified issues for assigned applications.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale software applications to support business functions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using multiple programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Participate in and lead code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git to manage codebase and track changes.
  • Document software designs, code, and processes for future reference and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the software remains current and
  • competitive.
  • Design and implement software solutions independently.
  • Perform debugging and testing.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and expertise.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of software development initiatives.
  • Lead teams using Agile and DevOps practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience).
  • Typically 8+ years of related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
  • Understanding of business requirements that translates into large-scale technical solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of leading teams using Agile and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing workflows, handlers, integration pipelines, and reports within Siemens Teamcenter PLM.

  • Strong familiarity with Deployment Center and managing configuration changes with it.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or others.
  • Familiarity with development frameworks such as Spring, Django, .NET, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring development teams.  

COMPENSATION

Pay Range:

$139,590 - $191,950 USD

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
