Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid Cloud

About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Hybrid Cloud Engineering. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade hybrid cloud platforms that integrate on-premises and public cloud environments. You will lead initiatives to modernize infrastructure, drive automation, and ensure secure, scalable, and resilient systems across multiple cloud providers. This position requires expertise in leveraging automation frameworks to streamline deployments, managing Git-based workflows for version control and collaboration, and thriving in a dynamic environment alongside highly intelligent and motivated professionals. Your ability to adapt to evolving technologies and deliver innovative solutions will be critical to success.
In this role, you will:

• Architect and manage hybrid cloud solutions across on-premises and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead infrastructure modernization projects, including migration strategies and cloud adoption frameworks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Drive automation for provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to ensure compliance, governance, and robust security posture.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery and application deployment.
• Optimize performance and cost across hybrid environments through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations and automation.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on hybrid cloud environments
• 5+ years of observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• 3+ years of expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises virtualization technologies
• 3+ years of experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
• 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• 3+ years with GitOps workflows and tools (ArgoCD, Flux)

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Solid understanding of networking, security hardening, and compliance framework
• Experience with cost optimization and multi-cloud governance strategies
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
