JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the department's strategic business development, identify new opportunities, expand clientele base and operations.
1. Strategic Planning and Campaign Development
- Develop KOL strategy aligned to brand objectives (Strategy deck)
- Design full-funnel influencer frameworks.
- Identify the right mix of Influencer Tiering and propose KOL samples.
- Translate marketing briefs into actionable influencer roadmaps.
- Craft campaign narratives and content directions.
2. Client Sourcing and Servicing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Lead client meetings and presentations.
- Manage timelines, expectations, and approvals between client and operation team.
- Primary point of contact throughout campaign lifecycle.
- Provide strategic counsel and operational updates.
- Handle crisis management and influencer risks.
3. KOL Strategy
- Oversee influencer identification and vetting.
- Ensure alignment with brand values and audience relevance.
- Negotiate usage rights and deliverables with the operation team.
- Monitor metrics (engagement quality, audience demographics).
4. Campaign Monitoring
- Create campaign timelines.
- Ensure content aligns with strategy.
- Track performance metrics (audience, reach and engagement)
5. Reporting and Insights
- Analise post-campaign reports (PCR) with the operation team and provide strategic insights
- Identify learnings for future campaigns
- Present PCR clearly to clientele
- Build benchmark database (CER, KOL Tier, Platform)
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years in Influencer Marketing.
- Strong understanding on Malaysia’s KOL landscape.
- Experience in handling mid to large brand budgets and campaigns.
- Experience with influencer marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative mindset with an eye for compelling content.
