About your role:

We’re seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to elevate Givelify’s visual brand and drive design excellence across all touchpoints. You’ll lead strategy and execution for high-impact initiatives representing life-changing causes, products, and organizations—alongside the Givelify brand itself. 

In this role, you’ll combine hands-on design with systems thinking to ensure scalable, visually striking work. You’ll mentor designers, set standards, influence strategy, and inspire a growing team—making sure every visual expression reflects our mission, values, and business goals. You’re a strategic thinker with sharp design instincts, an eye for innovation, and a passion for using creativity to inspire good in the world. 

The Creative Team:

Givelify’s Creative Team produces the experiences that wow our audiences and users.  We consistently deliver world-class design and creativity across the entire business, serving our customers in collaboration with product, technology, marketing, support, and operations. This role reports to the Art Director.    

The Lead Graphic Designer will get to: 

  • High-quality Design: Produce 5-star creative work while balancing strategic considerations, resulting in completing high-quality projects delivered on schedule and within scope. 
  • Brand Stewardship: Define, maintain, and evolve Givelify’s visual brand identity, resulting in resulting in consistency of visual identity across all channels. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent design in cross-functional planning, reviews, and strategy discussions, resulting in strong cross-functional relationships and the alignment of design solutions with broader business or campaign goals. 
  • Mentorship & Influence: Elevate the creative output of others through advice, consultation, and shared best practices, resulting in improvement in design quality and velocity.  

To be successful in this role, you’ll also:  

  • Define and drive design strategy for major initiatives, leading cross-functional conversations with stakeholders, teammates, and executive leadership to align creative vision with business goals. 
  • Lead the creation of world-class designs across digital and physical mediums, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Givelify’s mission and strategic objectives. 
  • Embed a deep understanding of Givelify’s audiences and business strategy into design decisions, representing the customer perspective across all projects. 
  • Champion the Givelify brand, setting visual standards, ensuring consistency, and innovating to evolve brand identity. 
  • Collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners, including with project managers, marketers, business stakeholders, and creative leadership 
  • Lead the elevating of design across the organization through mentorship, thought leadership, and actively shaping creative culture and design systems. 
  • KPIs: 
    • # of creative cycle days 
    • # of replies per cycle 

Your experience: 

  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience (please submit portfolio or link to work)   
  • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. 
  • Strong conceptual thinking, with a contemporary, user-centric aesthetic and mastery of typography, color, and layout hierarchy. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate creative concepts to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Experience working and leading design strategy cross-functionally   
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs. 
  • Excellent organization, planning, execution & time management skills   
  • Superior attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.
