Lead Designer, USLocation: Remote
Help us shape the future of our brand and the AI-powered low-code development platform that enterprise leaders trust to build and future-proof their critical applications, agents, and core systems. We're looking for a Lead Designer to join our US marketing team. As Lead US Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our visual brand identity and activations in the US, working closely as a peer with our design team in Portugal. You'll be a key contributor to our global design efforts, ensuring brand consistency while also developing visually compelling assets tailored for the US market. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about translating complex technical concepts into engaging visual narratives.
What You'll Do:Lead US Design Initiatives: Spearhead the creation of high-quality graphic design assets for a variety of marketing channels, including digital campaigns (ads, social media, web), events, presentations, sales enablement materials, and more, specifically for the US market.
Collaborate Globally: Work in close partnership with our design team in Portugal, sharing best practices, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring a cohesive global brand presence. You'll act as a peer and a bridge between the US and Portuguese design efforts.
Brand Guardian: Champion OutSystems' brand guidelines, ensuring all US-focused visual communications are consistent, on-brand, and visually impactful.
Concept Development: Translate marketing objectives and technical information into innovative and effective visual concepts.
Vendor Management: Potentially manage relationships with external design agencies or freelancers as needed for specific projects.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate our visual output.
Mentor & Share: Contribute to a culture of design excellence by sharing your expertise and insights with the broader marketing and design teams.
7+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of marketing materials and an emphasis on digital design.
Proven experience as a lead designer or in a senior role, with the ability to independently manage projects and provide design direction.
Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
Strong understanding of brand identity, visual hierarchies, and typography.
Experience working within brand guidelines and evolving them as needed.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams, including a remote international team.
Experience in the B2B SaaS or technology industry is a plus.
A strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished work.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
A self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and working towards common goals.
Adaptable and open to feedback, with a growth mindset.
