ImpactAs a Lead Consultant, Learning & Development located in Birmingham, AL,  Minneapolis, MN or Atlanta, GA you will be responsible for acting as a strategic end- to-end learning leader across design, facilitation, and subject matter expert dedicated to creating a culture of continuous learning.
While no two days are the same, you will utilize a portfolio management approach to equip our team with Future Ready Skills, managing shifting enterprise priorities that evolve with our business needs. You will sit on a specialized team of three Lead L&D consultants. Reporting directly to the VP, Culture & Community, you will act as a "jack of all trades" in the learning space—operating as a designer, facilitator, and subject matter expert dedicated to creating a culture of continuous learning. You will champion learning initiatives that embed growth into the daily flow of work, and partner across our business teams to translate complex concepts into accessible programs that build AI fluency and design curriculum focused on Empathy, EQ, Change Management, and Critical Thinking. You will curate a comprehensive plan for Learning for team members and leaders at every level, establish robust, data-driven measurement strategies and lead engaging, high-stakes facilitation sessions for diverse audiences across the organization.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
  • You have 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Instructional Design, preferably in a fast-paced tech or startup environment
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (a Master’s in ID or HR is a plus)
  • You have a consulting mindset with a proven ability to manage a portfolio of stakeholders and projects simultaneously, delivering results on time and within scope
  • You have exceptional verbal communication skills and a track record of facilitating complex topics (including EQ and leadership) for both large groups and executive teams
  • You have proficiency with industry-standard authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • You have an adaptable nature, allowing you to thrive in ambiguity and "flow" between different projects and learning pillars as the business changes
  • You have the ability to act as a strategic translator who can sit with technical experts, understand their world, and build curriculum that non-technical team members can master
  • You have the ability to travel frequently for business meetings, team on-sites, and events

Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
