In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for organizing and directing all aspects of delivery for a set of complex change initiatives (plan, design, and execute). Change initiatives include, but not limited to: Current state analysis and target state solution design, system implementation/upgrade, vendor assessment/selection, new product design, regulatory compliance and issue resolution, process improvement and redesign
- Responsible for full management over a set of project deliverables: Conduct requirement gathering and business analysis activities across multiple asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives and FX. Develop, implement and oversee governance routines for project execution, management reporting and business readiness
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategy/policies and business line objectives
- Ensure that change management (communication & training) and user experience (adoption) is a focus of every project undertaken
- Responsible for pro-actively identifying potential risks when implementing change, along with developing a mitigation strategy and plan
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas (business, technology, risk, etc.)
- Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of projects, services and initiatives
- Work with impacted areas to understand complex problems. Focus on bringing issues and risks to resolution; identifying solutions and developing clear options and recommendations that drive decision making
- Use problem solving skills to develop custom approaches and solutions (process improvement, change management, product management, projects, etc.) that are tailored to the problem
- Possess detailed understanding of internal policies/procedures, leading process and change methodologies, regulation and support infrastructure complemented by a general capital markets skillset
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years Capital Markets experience
- Knowledge and understanding of institutional broker/dealer trading practices across a vast array of products including, but not limited to, foreign exchange, fixed income, equities, and derivatives
- Experience working across a broad set of capital markets businesses, market dynamics, and issues impacting a complex set of business activities and personnel
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers and effectively present to target audiences (technology, business, vendors, etc.)
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment with multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to think strategically, be a self-starter, challenge the status quo, implement, and effectively deliver business objectives
- Demonstrated understanding and use of change management, process improvement, product development and project delivery methodologies including SDLC and Agile
- Knowledge and understanding of complex IT environments: cross-functional areas, large number of interfaces and data sources
- Strong data management, financial management, quality management and organization skills
- This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification.
