Summary:

In this role, you will become an accountable but trusted partner to senior sales executives. You will support a high-caliber, fast-moving sales team that creates value for large health systems and hospitals. You will also provide insightful, relevant, and actionable insights to improve sales performance. You will also move at the pace of senior sales executives, producing deliverables quickly, professionally, and on time. You will explain your analyses to non-technical audiences with good clarity, emphasizing key points with clear visualizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting relationships with senior sales executives, generating credibility through a track record of completing relevant analyses, on time, and without error.

  • Solve problems independently, move at the pace of business, and balance multiple stakeholders.

  • Deliver relevant insights through compelling presentations, formal memos, and emails.

  • Engage fully in every discussion, balancing understanding and individual contribution.

  • Identify data-driven sales strategies to increase revenue, focusing on cause-and-effect.

  • Develop predictive models (e.g., machine learning) and execute hypothesis-driven analyses to validate business strategies.

  • Analyze complex datasets in using advanced tools (e.g., pivot tables, regression, aggregation, etc.).

  • Create high-impact data visualizations in Excel, R, or Python.

  • Build data models and scripts to automate repetitive tasks where appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant analytical experience required, 3 years of supporting a high-caliber, professional sales team in a corporate environment desired.

  • Strong analytical skills, usually demonstrated through a rigorous degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting. 

  • Power-user capabilities in Excel, SQL (Data Bricks), and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated mastery of AI technology, such as ChatGPT, to support problem solving and coding.

  • Proficiency with statistical modeling, machine learning, and NLP (Python, R, SQL). 

  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (HubSpot), and non-traditional datasets (Definitive Healthcare, LinkedIn).

  • Experience with data quality and performance improvement initiatives or projects desired.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
