Job Description:

As a Lead AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy artificial intelligence capabilities that drive business value and enhance our global products. You will work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable AI systems for content personalization, audience analytics, creative optimization, and more. You will report to the Global Head of AI & Innovation.

This is a remote role. Employees within 90 min of our NY, MI, or IL offices may expect 3 days a week onsite.

  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise LLMs – their APIs, performance challenges, and how to mitigate those (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.)

  • Demonstrated production experience with API conventions and integration into pipelines, e.g. RESTful API, FastAPI, or similar.

  • Demonstrated experience integrating multiple approaches for extracting highest-quality output from LLMs, e.g. prompt engineering, multi-agents, structured output validation, hybrid RAG, in-context learning (ICL), or NLP- or ontology-powered layering.

  • Proficiency with document processing pipelines (text extraction, chunking, embedding)

  • Demonstrated production experience with measuring and improving AI systems, tracing and AI observability (e.g. Arize, OpenTelemetry, LangSmith)

  • Strong foundation in data science fundamentals, including data analysis, statistical methods, and experience working with structured and unstructured data
