Who is Sonar?

Sonar is driving the future of agent-centric software development. As the leader in AI code verification and governance, we solve a critical problem: ensuring that software generated by AI-assisted developers or autonomous agents is reliable, secure, and maintainable.

Integrating seamlessly with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Devin, we help over 75% of the Fortune 100 build trusted, reliable, compliant software. Customers who use Sonar are 44% less likely to report an outage due to AI-generated code.

We believe code verification is the critical missing link in the Agent-Centric Development Cycle (AC/DC). Industry giants like Nvidia, ServiceNow, Booking.com, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company count on us to provide independent, explainable, consistent review and governance of their AI-generated code via products like:

  • SonarQube: The world’s leading AI code review and verification platform.
  • SonarQube Foundation Agent: Currently topping the leaderboards for agentic software repair.
  • SonarSweep & Sonar Context Augmentation: Providing the enterprise-grade context and constraints agents need to be truly effective.

Our team operates across global hubs in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. We move with a mindset we call CODE:

  • Committed to our customers and community.
  • Obsessed with quality.
  • Deliberate in our decisions.
  • Effective as one team.

With over $400M in revenue and profitable, fast-paced growth, we are building the backbone of the AI software revolution. If you’re hungry to have an impact, want to build at a fast pace, and ready to work at the forefront of AI, we want to hear from you.

About The Role
The LATAM Channel Director is responsible for developing and executing the partner ecosystem strategy across Latin America to accelerate revenue growth, expand market coverage, and increase customer acquisition through indirect routes to market. This leader will build and manage relationships with regional and global systems integrators, value added resellers, distributors, cloud hyperscalers, managed service providers, and technology partners across Spanish-speaking countries and Brazil

What You'll Do:

    • Develop and execute the partner ecosystem strategy across Latin America to accelerate revenue growth, expand market coverage, and drive customer acquisition through indirect routes to market

    • Build and manage relationships with regional and global systems integrators, value added resellers, distributors, cloud hyperscalers, managed service providers, and technology partners

    • Drive pipeline creation, co-sell engagement, and marketplace adoption across the region

    • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, and alliance teams to align GTM execution and accelerate partner sourced revenue

    • Negotiate strategic partnerships and influence executive stakeholders internally and externally

    • Operate effectively across both Spanish-speaking Latin America and Brazil, navigating regional business practices and partner economics with fluency

Experience Needed:

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have a proven track record of building scalable partner programs and managing complex channel ecosystems throughout Latin America, including Spanish-speaking countries and Brazil

    • Demonstrate experience delivering measurable business outcomes through indirect routes to market in enterprise software, cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps, or developer technology markets

    • Bring deep understanding of partner economics, regional business practices, and go-to-market execution across LATAM

    • Have experience influencing executive stakeholders and negotiating strategic partnerships at the regional and global level

    • Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution — comfortable building programs while simultaneously driving results

    • Have a track record of driving partner sourced revenue through systems integrators, VARs, distributors, cloud hyperscalers, and managed service providers
