The Korea Community Ambassador will manage local channels, grow the Espresso community, identify opportunities, organize meetups, and provide feedback.
Espresso’s aim is to support billions of users and trillions in assets on thousands of chains that all work together as one. We need your help in making that happen.
Espresso is a base layer designed to give rollups fast, low-cost infrastructure and composability across chains. The Espresso Network provides fast confirmations to chains ranging from leading L2s like Celo and RARI Chain to emerging appchains attracting their first users.
At Espresso Systems, we work with leading teams developing chains, rollups, and applications, including Offchain Labs, Polygon, Cartesi, RARI Chain, and beyond—all united in our mission to build an open experience in which all chains work together as one.
The Espresso team comprises a diverse and passionate group of contributors from around the world. We are developers, designers, and researchers who have contributed in academia, in open source communities, in policymaking, and beyond. We are backed by over $50m in funding from leading investors in technology and crypto, including a16z, Greylock Partners, Electric Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Polychain Capital.
We’re looking for regional ambassadors to help grow and strengthen local communities while expanding Espresso's global presence. As an ambassador, you'll introduce Espresso to new audiences and energize our existing local communities.
What you’ll be doing (ie, job duties):
- Be the primary ambassador for Espresso in your country
- Managing local channels, such as local TG and X channels
- Establish and grow the local Espresso community of builders and supporters
- Identify local app, distribution, and partnership opportunities
- Help organize meetups to bolster the local Espresso community
- Share market intel, community, and product feedback with the Espresso team
- Ensure adherence of your community to Espresso’s norms, culture, and community guidelines
- Cultivate and spread a deep understanding of Espresso’s tech and community
What our ideal ambassador looks like:
- Experience in running communities in crypto
- Thorough understanding of your local crypto market
- A driven, solutions-oriented individual
- Excellent communication skills in both native language and English
- A real hands-on mentality
This is a paid part-time position. All successful candidates will need to undergo KYC/AML and will need to be eligible to work or contract for US-based companies.
