The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Key Account Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading sales calls with one of 3M’s largest retail customers.
- Implements tactics to grow Consumer Business’s sales.
- Determines and develops key selling strategies for winning with a large retailer.
- Supports the USA and Canada marketing and sales teams by helping develop winning strategies.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) years of sales and/or marketing experience calling on Consumer, Industrial, Safety, or Abrasive Markets.
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in business from an accredited institution
- Ten (10) years of Key Account sales or marketing calling on large Retailers.
- Strong personal interaction skills.
- Experience in leveraging POS data to drive sales.
Work location:
- On-site: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at 3M’s Smyrna, Georgia location.
- Travel: May include up to 20% domestically
- Relocation: May be authorized
