Key Account Manager, Retail & Food Service
The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth and strengthen partnerships with regional and national Retail and Food Service customers. This role is responsible for expanding Diversey's cleaning, floor care, food safety, and sanitation solutions through strategic account management and business development.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales professional with experience in commercial cleaning, retail and food service operations, food safety, and data-driven decision-making. Success in this role requires the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from executive leadership to frontline operations, while delivering innovative solutions that create measurable value for customers. Preferred candidates will live in Colorado, within vicinity of a major airport.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular engagement, business reviews, and strategic account planning.
  • Increase account penetration, customer loyalty, and revenue growth by identifying opportunities to improve current programs and introduce new solutions.
  • Engage customers at all organizational levels to align business goals, review performance metrics, and communicate industry trends, new products, and innovations.
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, partner collaboration, lead generation campaigns, and social selling strategies.
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets through customer acquisition, retention, and account expansion.
  • Identify, present, and close multi-product solutions through demonstrations, presentations, and training programs.
  • Provide ongoing customer support and training across customer locations to ensure program success and adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, technical, and support teams to deliver value-driven solutions and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, budgeting, CRM updates, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Proven success in strategic account management and business development.
  • Experience in commercial cleaning applications, chemical sales, and food service
  • Strong understanding of retail and food service operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety programs and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, business reviews, and customer performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders from executive leadership to frontline operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM.
  • Ability to travel overnight, 30-50%. must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,730.00 and $118,404.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
