Position Summary:

Join our mission to transform the mortgage industry with innovative fintech solutions. We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Director to drive significant revenue growth by securing new logos and expanding our footprint within existing accounts across a dedicated geographical territory. This is a high-impact role where your strategic prowess in complex sales cycles will directly contribute to our market expansion and success. This role requires a hunter's mentality and a tactical approach to managing sales cycles, from prospecting to close.

Expected Duties:

  • Drive New Business: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire, qualify, and close new customer opportunities (banks, credit unions, independent mortgage bankers) using company-provided tools and a defined sales process.

  • Build a Robust Pipeline: Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline valued at 3 to 4 times your assigned quota to ensure consistent Closed WON results.

  • Navigate Complexity: Lead large, intricate sales cycles, including coordinating complex customer RFPs and engaging with buying committees averaging 5-10 stakeholders in the mortgage sector.

  • Strategic Growth: Expand existing relationships with MeridianLink customers, identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.

  • Market Influence: Provide vital marketplace insights to the ML Product Team, influencing our product roadmap with deep mortgage industry expertise.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of related experience, ideally within the mortgage industry or selling enterprise software/fintech solutions.

  • Proven expertise in sophisticated analytical problem-solving and creative solution development to address unique client needs.

  • Strong ability to enhance and leverage relationships with senior internal and external partners, often requiring skilled persuasion and negotiation.
