We are seeking a JWICS & SAP Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Specialize in the administration and operations of a JWICS environment and performs cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as needed to ensure continuous performance.
  • Build, maintain, and configure Windows workstations and thin clients.
  • Perform administrative operations and maintenance functions of hardware and software.
  • Download and install critical patches on systems in accordance with MDA rules and guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot system errors or user issues.
  • Track resource utilization and performance of systems.
  • Perform modifications and upgrades as needed.
  • Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Provide SAP support as needed.
  • Assist in other Systems Engineering/Administration duties to which may be assigned.

What You Bring

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have 8, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
    • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
  • Must have 4 years of directly related experience
  • Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Have Systems Administration/Engineering experience managing Windows desktops, servers and office products
  • Have experience with HP workstation and thin clients
  • Have experience with Windows 10
  • Have experience with Networking and Cybersecurity
  • Have experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management
