Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking DevSecOps Engineers of multiple levels of experience to join our team and play a crucial role in our software development lifecycle (SDLC) for pipelines supporting web application deployments. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines across various applications and ensuring seamless integration of security requirements into development workflows. This role requires familiarity with cloud systems, coding languages, and tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC). Depending on the level, individuals in this role may perform under supervision, collaborate on multiple complex tasks, or lead high-impact projects. Our DevOps engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers. This team will be based out of Colorado Springs, CO. 

Junior DevOps Engineer: 

  • Responsibilities:
    • Support the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab under supervision
    • Assist in integrating security protocols within DevSecOps workflows
    • Collaborate with team members to manage infrastructure and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Packer
    • Gain hands-on experience with cloud systems, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, by supporting deployments and architecture setups
    • Learn and assist in software development using Java, Spring framework, Python, JavaScript, or Angular
  •  Qualifications:
    • 1-2 years in technical roles related to DevSecOps, development, or system operations
    • Foundational understanding of DevSecOps concepts and tools
    • Exposure to coding, CI/CD tools, or cloud architecture
    • Demonstrated ability to follow technical guidance and perform under supervision
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
    • US Citizen and an active Secret security clearance

Mid-level DevOps Engineer:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Independently design and manage CI/CD pipelines, integrating DevSecOps best practices
    • Develop and enhance secure automation workflows using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms
    • Use IaC and CaC tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, to manage infrastructure scalability and security
    • Troubleshoot, identify, and innovate solutions for technical challenges in software development and cloud architecture
    • Contribute to technical documentation, process improvements, and project deliverables
    • May assist in handling escalations and providing technical customer service
  •  Qualifications:
    • 5+ years in DevSecOps or related fields, with increasing responsibility in technical tasks
    • Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD management, security, and workflow optimization
    • Strong skills in software development using Java, Spring, Python, or other relevant technologies
    • Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Ability to work with limited supervision and creatively approach problem-solving
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
    • US Citizen and an active Secret security clearance

Senior DevOps Engineer:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines with integrated security protocols
    • Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to best practices in DevSecOps and software security
    • Lead efforts to evaluate, deploy, and optimize cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Develop advanced automation solutions using IaC and CaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
    • Plan and oversee major technology assignments, providing guidance on methodology and execution
    • Manage escalations, providing technical solutions and working with stakeholders to ensure issue resolution
  •  Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of DevSecOps experience, with a track record of leading successful projects
    • Comprehensive knowledge of DevSecOps tools, platforms, and processes
    • Proven ability to lead high-impact technology projects and teams
    • Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Advanced coding skills in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
    • Expertise in cloud systems architecture and performance optimization
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
    • US Citizen and an active Secret security clearance


This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO. The estimated salary range for these positions are:
Junior - $100,000.00 - $120,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset
Mid - 125,000.00 - $145,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset
Senior - $150,000.00 - $170,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset
