The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Mid Level IT Release Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the release management process for our software and system upgrades. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition of software from development to production.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end release process, ensuring on-time delivery of software updates and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify release requirements and create release plans.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews and deployment retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain release schedules and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective configuration management and version control practices are followed.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT release management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with release management tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools and processes.
  • Previous experience in a DevOps or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment.
  • Certifications in project management or relevant IT methodologies.
