This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer (Support) to join an international project in the beauty industry.

In this role, you will work closely with the technical leadership and business teams, supporting day-to-day system operations, analyzing system performance and business/financial data, and contributing to data pipelines and basic software fixes.

This is a great opportunity for a junior professional who wants to develop their technical skills while gaining exposure to software support, data, reporting, Azure technologies, and business-oriented technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for business applications and systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to help identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support business-focused and financial reporting, working with data to provide relevant insights.
  • Work with SQL to query, analyze, and validate data.
  • Support data pipelines and data-related processes.
  • Work with Azure technologies in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot basic technical issues and bugs.
  • Implement basic bug fixes under the guidance of a technical leader.
  • Use Git for version control and collaborate with the development team.
  • Work with XLSX files and spreadsheets for data analysis, reporting, and validation.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand issues and support their resolution.


Requirements
  • Previous experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Experience with Java.
  • Experience working with XLSX files / Excel.
  • Basic understanding of software development and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to analyze problems, investigate issues, and work collaboratively with technical leadership.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
