Role overview:

At Ferring we are on a mission to bring forward innovation in the treatment of radicular leg pain due to lumbar disc herniation. We are building a team of individuals to launch a biologic product that, if approved, would be a novel, only-in-class intradiscal therapy for the treatment of radicular leg pain caused by lumbar disc herniation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing, results driven launch sales team capable of operating in a dynamic and transformational environment.

  • Develop local market business plans that translate national strategy to capture full market potential by driving early adoption and sustained growth.

  • Facilitate optimal execution by consistently leveraging data to analyze market trends, regularly utilize field rides to coach and direct team, actively  identify new business opportunities, and maintain key customer relationships.

  • Ensure ongoing coordination and collaboration across cross functional team to ensure comprehensive support of target customer/account needs

  • Actively manage all aspects of sales force effectiveness and administration to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures..

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum 5 years sales leadership experience required, medical device leadership preferred

  • Specialty therapeutic launch experience in emerging or disruptive therapies required

  • Minimum 7 years of interventional spine device sales and/or pain experience with a proven record of results.

  • Minimum 2 years of buy and bill experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of leading teams that consistently exceed sales and demand‑generation objectives.

  • Experience leading teams through transformational market situations and experience driving adoption of complex, procedure-based or buy-and-bill therapies strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to hire, motivate, develop, and retain talent while achieving or exceeding sales goals

  • Previous experience in marketing, market access, analytics, training, or related functions desirable.

Note: These are field-based roles. We seek candidates who are willing and able to travel 60 % or more of the time. Successful candidates are required to reside within the territory and within close proximity to a major airport hub.
