Job Description
The IT Solutions Engineer will play a key role in supporting, optimizing, and integrating enterprise IT systems and applications across the organization. This position will work closely with the broader Systems team, assisting in the execution of projects, taking ownership of assigned processes, and ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs.The IT Solutions Engineer will collaborate with systems engineers, project managers, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver secure, efficient, and cost-effective technology solutions. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution.
This is a hands-on, growth-oriented position designed for someone who can own processes, learn new systems quickly, and evolve into managing SaaS platforms and integrations across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Own and manage processes within Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, and server infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.
· Work closely with the broader Systems team to deliver projects and operational improvements.
· Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and vendors to support and enhance enterprise IT systems and applications.
· Lead assigned initiatives in areas such as system integrations, identity and access management, security controls, and audit/compliance documentation.
· Partner with stakeholders to analyze IT and business processes, identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and cost savings, and recommend practical solutions.
· Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions that align with organizational goals.
· Support audit and compliance activities by documenting processes, providing evidence, and maintaining clear records of system changes.
· Create and maintain technical and business-facing documentation to support both IT teams and non-technical stakeholders.
· Contribute to IT project delivery by participating in planning, testing, implementation, and stakeholder communication, ensuring milestones are met.
· Engage in continuous learning and improvement by developing expertise in new systems and taking ownership of SaaS platforms as the role evolves.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships across technical teams, business units, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes.
· Experience with Okta administration and familiarity with Okta Workflows.
· Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours escalation support for critical systems and services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
· Minimum 4 years of IT experience in enterprise systems administration or engineering.
· Expertise in Microsoft 365 across the full stack, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
· Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Windows Server infrastructure.
· Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
· Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
· Ability to analyze business requirements and design, implement, and own technical solutions.
· Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills; able to clearly present technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Preferred:
· Experience with identity management platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, or similar.
· Exposure to PowerShell scripting or automation tools.
· Experience with M&A or company split–driven systems integration projects.
· Knowledge of how digital certificates work and their role in enterprise infrastructure.
· Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT service management platforms (Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence).
· Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly and take ownership of SaaS platforms as business needs evolve.
COMPENSATION:
$90,000 - $110,000
