You will serve as a site-level owner for key manufacturing applications and participate in a 24×7 on call rotation to ensure high availability of production systems. Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incidents using ServiceNow ITSM; participate in and lead Major Incident responses as needed.
- Build, maintain , and respond to monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system availability.
- Develop software fixes, automations, and engineered solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Validate and approve software deployments, ensuring zero impact to live Production environments.
- Document system knowledge, troubleshooting procedures, and recovery processes.
- Support infrastructure migrations and serve as an SME across Manufacturing IT systems.
Required Experience and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Experience in IT operations, incident management, and production system support.
- Proficiency in C# or similar object-oriented programming languages .
- Strong SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience working with REST APIs and web service integrations.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, controlled change/deployment processes, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Source control and DevOps tooling experience (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
- Scripting and programming experience (Python, PowerShell, Perl; Angular a plus ).
- Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Configuration management and service tools experience (Ansible, Consul).
- Monitoring and logging experience (Splunk or similar monitoring tools, logging frameworks).
- Systems and data-flow experience (basic Linux and Windows Server administration; NiFi or similar technologies).
