Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a IT Project Manager (EDI/XML) work for our company.

- Serves as the lead for EDI/XML integrations within Oracle EBS 12.x, providing technical leadership, architectural design (especially inbound from third parties to EBS), and configuration expertise.
- Oversees and manage all aspects of contractor support related to assigned EDI/XML tasks, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling activities necessary to meet schedule and performance requirements.
- Utilizes extensive knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and common transaction sets (including 810, 830, 850, 855, 856, 862, ORDERS, ORDRSP, INVOIC, DELFOR, DELJIT, DESADV, 834, 835, 837, 820, 270, 270, 271, 276, 277, 843, 857) for developing, configuring, and integrating complex inbound and outbound interfaces with Oracle EBS.
- Designs and configures EDI solutions within Oracle EDI Gateway as per business requirements.
- Handles and resolves exceptionally complex Oracle EDI related issues.\
- Manages the implementation of EDI products and services for new and existing trading partners, providing translation support for all EDI processes and systems.
- Applies expertise in Oracle EBS integration methods including Open Interface tables, APIs, EAI tools (BPEL, AQ), and leverage Oracle EBS development technologies (Forms, RICE/CEMLI, BI/XML Reports, Oracle Developer 2000, PL/SQL). PL/SQL experience is mandatory for this role.
- Gathers business requirements, lead fit-gap analysis, design 'as-is' and 'to-be' business processes, perform application configuration, and test solution/business flows within Oracle EBS customization projects.
- Works with XML using relevant development tools (e.g., XML Oxygen, XML Spy) and define schemas using DTD/XSD. Apply good knowledge of web services and XML.
- Manages day-to-day operations for assigned tasks, including assessing risks, identifying assumptions, and resolving interpersonal conflicts.
- Actively participates in management decision-making processes related to program/project success.
- Responsible for ensuring all duties, tasks, and activities are successfully completed to support the program/project goals.
Requirements:
- Must have a current U.S. Government SECRET / IT-II Clearance. (Sponsorship will not be provided)
- Must hold a relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- 10 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology) with extensive experience specifically in EDI/XML electronic data exchange.
- Proven experience in developing and configuring complex inbound and outbound interfaces with Oracle EBS.
- Must have 10+ years of supervisory experience.
- Must have previous experience in DoD logistics functions (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, project management).
- Experience designing the EDI architecture, particularly inbound integrations from third-party tools to Oracle EBS.
- Experience designing and configuring EDI within Oracle EDI Gateway is required.
- Experience in handling complex Oracle EDI related issues.
- Experience managing the implementation of EDI products and services for trading partners.
- Extensive experience integrating standard X12 transactions (including 834, 837, 835, 820, 270, 271, 276, 277) into internal and external systems.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, process design, application configuration, and testing solutions within Oracle EBS customization projects.
- Experience overseeing and managing all aspects of contractor support for tasks, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling activities to meet schedule and performance requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Apps Forms, RICE/CEMLI elements, BI/XML Reports, Oracle Developer 2000, and PL/SQL (PL/SQL expertise is mandatory).
- Deep understanding of Oracle EBS integration methods including Open Interface tables, APIs, EAI tools (BPEL, AQ), and EDI.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and transaction sets (including 850, 855, 856, 810, 830, 862, ORDERS, ORDRSP, INVOIC, DELFOR, DELJIT, DESADV).
- Familiarity with EDI mapping tools and middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle B2B, Sterling Integrator) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of web services, XML, DTD/XSD, and experience with XML development tools (e.g., XML Oxygen, XML Spy).
- Experience using MS Project.
- Experience in a specific logistics functional area (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, operations research) is highly relevant.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations, assess risks, identify assumptions, resolve conflicts, and actively participate in management decision-making.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel to the client site in Washington, DC approximately 25% annually.
