Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for AMS-related initiatives, including new implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope statements, timelines, task lists, risk logs, and status reports.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal staff, external vendors, and consultants.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Conduct regular status meetings, issue resolution sessions, and stakeholder updates.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), end-to-end testing, and deployment readiness.
- Ensure successful project closure, including lessons learned documentation and post-implementation support planning.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a nonprofit or association environment.
- Proven experience managing AMS projects; familiarity with Cobalt CRM or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, SharePoint).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
Preferred:
- PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management Certification.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managing vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and CRM best practices.
