The candidate will have strong project management coordinator experience supporting multiple concurrent IT projects with various program/project managers. The candidate will be supporting programs and projects through the project lifecycle including Planning and Analysis, Execution, Delivery, Stabilization and Benefit Realization.

The candidate will be supporting programs and projects through the project lifecycle including Planning and Analysis, Execution, Delivery, Stabilization and Benefit Realization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform key project management duties to support project teams with respect to coordinating internal and external stakeholder meetings, preparation of meeting materials, data entry and other activities as assigned.
- Assisting the program/project manager and subject matter experts (SMEs) with project business case development, design and development of project execution strategies, requirements gathering/scope development, project team information, and success criteria.
- Assist the program/project manager in managing the work breakdown structure, effort estimation, and resource loaded schedule management.
- Assist the program/project manager in developing project schedules, assist with managing the schedules during the project lifecycle, and proactively identify schedule slippages to the program/project manager.
- Assist the program/project manager in identifying risk and issues, developing risk mitigation plans, and documentation of actions and decisions. Experience with managing risk boards is a plus.
- Assist project/program managers with inputting information and reports in ServiceNow utilizing agile boards
- Assist the program/project manager with managing and tracking project budgets. Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles is a plus.
- Assist the project manager with project scope change management including requirements gathering, developing change management plans detailing scope, budget, and resource effects to scope changes/impact assessments, and change approvals and decisions documentation.
- Assist with developing and managing various program status reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders and other project documentation.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Build high quality relationships with various stakeholders including clients, users, company leaders and external partners.
- Ability to take the lead and manage low complexity, short duration projects with the supervision of a project manager.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior project managers and program managers on more complex project teams.
- Experience assisting projects through business-wide governance processes including assisting the program/project manager in developing deliverables.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in and IT/computer science, business, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years work experience.
- Learning agility, relentless improvement mindset
- Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Suite of tools specifically MS Project & Excel
- Familiarity with waterfall and Agile frameworks
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Familiarity with project management software tools (SPM), methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with assisting & coordinating technical projects through the full life cycle
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Agile Certification
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience
- Earned Value Management experience
- ServiceNow SPM experience
