IT Operations Analyst, KMGH
Are you passionate about technology and ready to be the backbone of a dynamic newsroom? KMGH in Denver, Colorado is seeking a skilled IT Operations Analyst who will provide essential support, configuration, and maintenance of our local area networks, operating systems, application software, and hardware. You'll play a crucial role in keeping our team connected and our technology running smoothly in accordance with Scripps IT policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provide desktop support for local users to include workstations, laptops, printers, and copiers
Gather feedback from end users regarding system performance
Provide effective levels of support and guidance to employees regarding the use of systems and technologies available on network
Provide advice and technical training to users
Maintain voice, data and video systems
Notify appropriate management when users or organization is negatively impacted by voice, data, or video systems issues and recommend possible solutions
Research and evaluate new technologies, make recommendations as required
Keep current with technology development, trends, and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance
Respond to technology requests and issues in a timely manner
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; or equivalent experience
2-5 years of general IT experience
Basic knowledge of networks, business and publishing systems and production systems
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Working knowledge of Azure/Entre, Intune, Jamf, and similar Enterprise tools desired.
Proficient with network protocols, troubleshooting techniques, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees to understand and resolve technical issues.
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to document technical support activities and maintain accurate records.
Provide technology support in a timely and accurate fashion to all employees either in person, by phone, or other collaborative methods.
Ability to be on call and support a 24-hour/day and 7-day/week operations environment as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical materials
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00
