We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT CRM Development team. The CRM team is responsible for a host of technologies centered around Dynamics 365 CE, delivered across multiple environments (Student CRM, Partner CRM, etc.), including Microsoft Azure components and a hybrid service-oriented architecture spanning both on-prem and cloud.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent problem-solving skills, expert knowledge of Microsoft's D365 platform and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. Those not possessing a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE need not apply.

What you will do:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the IT CRM Development team, promoting professional development and collaboration across all team roles including developers, business analysts, quality assurance engineers, and technical support engineers.
  • Architecture: End to end business and solution architecture, aligning business goals with technical implementation.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage the CRM budget, identifying cost-effective solutions for technology needs.
  • Security: Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
  • Support Services: Ensure efficient operations, providing support to end-users and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers and suppliers.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with organizational goals and identify opportunities for technological advancements.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

What you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and deep expertise on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and related technologies.
  • Proven experience in IT management or a similar role (5+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of IT software development and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and potential application to the university setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Sound judgment and critical reasoning skills.
  • Good decision making and negotiation skills.

  • Work constantly involves mental acuity requiring planning and organizational skills, spatial recognition and placement skills, decoding information, using critical thinking skills to determine logical sequences and paths for processes, language comprehension, and to formulate sound conclusions, and concentration/focus on the task at hand; prioritizing work, tasks and activities in a logical manner and meeting deadlines and project timelines; accuracy and thoroughness; solving complex issues and problems; using creativity for problem solving and formulating logical recommendations.
  • Work frequently involves the ability to translate and interpret complex technical information and restate it in simplified terms.
