Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, analyzes, designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive training, curriculum, classes, coaching and support to end users. Create and update documentation and materials to support both synchronous and asynchronous learning, eLearning, simulations, educational materials, job aids, etc. The IT ID 2 maintains and updates software training environments where possible. The IT ID 2 supports the team goal to deliver elegant training solutions that are intuitive, empowering, efficient, sustainable, systems focused, and foundation based.
Essential Functions:

  • Deliver virtual and in-person communication and training — Make formal and informal presentations to leadership, team members and end users both orally and in writing. Communicate with IDs, analysts, application managers, supervisors, PMs, Champions, and department heads around learning, testing, reports from class, etc.. Learn curriculum, systems, and roles necessary to schedule, coordinate and deliver train-the-trainer classes, classroom training and virtual training to users in multiple roles across supported applications. Use Learning Management System to track classroom and formal training and report training results to all impacted groups. (25%)
  • Project Management - Develop, coordinate, and manage timelines, resources, and milestones of assigned projects. Identify and develop project plans for unmanaged work when needed. Prioritizes work between and inside a project. Develop PDSA cycles for recurring work on key projects. Communicates with project owners and managers as well as other team members. Communicate with team and stakeholders to discuss the status of issues, trends, deliverables, end-user concerns, and anticipated milestones on projects. Provide feedback to team members on user requests and issues. Review and document the status of projects; escalate unresolved issues and proposals to leadership. Support the analysis and review of project outcomes. (15%)
  • Liaise, round and support end users - Learn user and department functions and needs and develop relationships to coordinate and deliver effective, consistent communication. Round with end users to validate workflow. Provide At The Elbow (ATE) and 1:1 support to new learners and struggling groups, and to provide troubleshooting and follow up to issues or training tickets as needed, virtually or in person. Mentor peers and team members. (10%)
  • Prioritize and manage requests to create and maintain workflow documentation for end users including those in IT. QA/testing of training and production environment. (10%)
  • Use project/problem/request tracking tools to keep documentation current on all assigned tasks. (10%)
  • Grow Denver Health application knowledge by learning additional applications, garnering proficiencies or supporting additional areas or modules with rounding or class delivery. (10%)

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:

  • 4-6 years experience in either adult education or corporate training programs required.
  • 1-3 years experience with an EMR/EHR or Healthcare environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with adult learning techniques and theory and change management methodology.
  • Proven communication skills, including presentations and facilitation.
  • Demonstrated skill in human relations and written, verbal, and electronic communication required
  • Strong writing skills. Demonstrated design skills with digital and print design as well as instructional /learning design.
  • Experienced with planning and project organization.
  • Demonstrates strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems. Can use analytical reasoning to determine root causes, define the problem, generate solutions, and implement the best option.
