The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing specific IT infrastructure projects within the organization. This role involves detailed project planning, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and risk management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the business's needs. 


 

Responsibilities: 

Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans for IT infrastructure projects, including resources, timelines, and budget. Execute the project plan, ensuring that project milestones are achieved within the planned timelines. 

Resource Management: Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budgets. Ensure resources are utilized efficiently and are aligned to project requirements. 

Risk & Issue Management: Identify and manage potential risks and issues that could impact project success. Develop and implement mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary. 


 

Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including project teams, management, vendors, and other departments. Manage stakeholder expectations regarding project outcomes. 

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, issue resolution, and performance evaluation. 

Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes within the project to ensure the final product meets the project requirements and quality standards. 

Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and management. Document project processes and outcomes for future reference and learning. 


 

Requirements: 

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) are highly desirable. 

Experience: At least 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects. 

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies such as networking, servers, databases, and cloud services. Proficiency with project management software and tools. 

Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Other: Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in IT infrastructure technologies and project management methodologies.
