This role is ideal for someone early in their SAP career who has a solid understanding of business processes in sales and distribution and wants to grow into a senior functional analyst role.
You will assist in supporting, configuring, and enhancing SAP OTC processes—including order management, billing, pricing, and logistics—while learning how SAP integrates with external systems through IDocs, middleware, and APIs. Working closely with senior analysts, developers, and business users, you’ll gain hands-on experience in translating business needs into system solutions that enable operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Provide first-level functional support for SAP S/4HANA OTC processes, including sales order creation, pricing, billing, and delivery management.
- Work with senior analysts to analyze business requirements and document process and configuration needs.
- Assist in the configuration and testing of SAP OTC functionality under guidance from senior team members.
- Support the setup and monitoring of IDoc interfaces and middleware integrations between SAP and external ordering, CRM, or e-commerce systems.
- Collaborate with business users to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating when necessary.
- Participate in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and help document test cases and results.
- Maintain accurate documentation for configuration, procedures, and issue resolutions.
- Support end-user training and knowledge sharing by preparing materials and assisting with workshops.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline or automate OTC processes.
- Stay current on SAP updates, functionality, and best practices to continuously build professional skills.
- All other duties as assigned
