As an IT Engineer/Tester, you will design and execute test cases, monitor application performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.
About this opportunity
We are now looking for an IT Engineer/Tester to join our innovative team here at Ericsson. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in testing, administering, troubleshooting, our customer application systems that span a number of domains. The IT Engineer/Tester role is an integral part of our customer-focused team and will implement services based on customer needs. This role extends manual test case design and execution, and entails tracking both functional and non-functional scenarios. Your primary focus will be on end-to-end user experiences, and software quality including performance, reliability, efficiency, and service scalability. You will be working either on customer premises or remotely.
What you will do-Design IT test cases and conduct analysis on functional scenarios.-Design performance tests and performance test script development and unit testing.-Execute IT test cases and report test results using specified tools, prepare and verify test environments, and execute automated performance test cases.-Troubleshoot IT applications, validate test data and scenarios, document defects in tracking tools, and follow up with developmental teams.-Defect tracking, Opening, retesting, closing the defect using workflow tools in SDLC environment.-Analyze test results and alignment with the client and share critical metric/s with the customer.
You will bring-Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (Computer, IT, Telecom)-Experience: Proven experience (2-3 years) in software testing.-Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mentality.-Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and convey complex issues clearly and effectively.-Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.-Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.-You should have presentation, communication, collaboration skills-critical thinking, and knowledge-sharing skills-Commercial and financial understanding-Applying expertise & technology-Delivering results and meeting customer expectations-Planning, organizing, and analyzing-You will follow processes and procedures-Analytical and task-oriented
