As a member of this high performance, progressive team, you will play a key role as a member of staff leading IT projects to help Agilent meet its growth and profitability goals.
Primary Accountabilities:
IT Project Management: Leads IT development projects and scrum teams in providing IT solutions to complex, high-impact business problems from project requests through implementation of integrated solutions and/or infrastructure services. Has ongoing accountability for all processes, resources, and deliverables related to online development. Oversee the team of internal and external IT resources as they plan, track and execute development from start to completion.
Define and lead project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Coach and guide Agile teams on Scrum/Agile principles, frameworks, and practices.
Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritization, and user story clarity.
Identify, log, and lead risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Remove impediments that block team progress and delivery.
Monitor team velocity, burn-down charts, and other Agile metrics to track performance and identify improvement areas.
Communicate project and sprint status to leadership and stakeholders clearly and regularly.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, psychological safety, and high performance within the team.
Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards, scope, and timeline expectations.
Lead stakeholder expectations, communication plans, and engagement strategies.
Lead governance activities, including status reports, steering committee meetings, and project reviews.
Ensure compliance with organizational processes, procurement policies, and vendor management (if applicable).
Adapt processes and practices based on team maturity, organizational needs, and project complexity.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent
8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level; requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in job
Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban) and traditional project management (Waterfall, Hybrid)
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with project planning, scheduling, and budget management
Familiarity with Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, cumulative flow diagrams)
Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management skills
Experience leading projects in key/core areas of technology (Adobe AEM, Coveo search, TMS, analytics, and integration technologies). Experience leading projects/scrum teams across multiple Web/ERP/CRM/CIAM/Middleware platforms preferred
Extensive experience working as part of a global, virtual team in a multinational company
Excellent facilitation skills for stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings
Conflict resolution and team coaching skills
Strong verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences
Skilled in status reporting, dashboard creation, and executive updates
Proficient in identifying and leading project risks, issues, and scope changes
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or equivalent Agile tools
Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, or other PM tools

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least September 1, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $121,600.00 - $190,000.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
