We Are Seeking

SBS is looking to fill an IT Auditor position. Preference will be given to candidates located in the areas of Dallas, TX, Memphis, TN, Eastern Oklahoma, Arkansas or Sioux Falls, SD. This is a "remote" position that requires up to 25% travel.

The IT Auditor performs risk-based IT security audits, and partners with clients to meet regulatory requirements following FFIEC/GLBA and other relevant guidelines as well as best practices.

Essential Functions

• Manage and complete IT audits including policy reviews, general controls reviews, firewall reviews and prepare draft and final reports for clients.
• Manage and complete Compliance audits to evaluate policies, procedures and implemented controls surrounding functions such as BSA and ACH audits.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members regarding security assessments such as Social Engineering, Penetration Testing, and Vulnerability Assessments.
• Contribute in the entire engagement process, from providing technical assistance to sales department to report delivery and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of information cyber security areas, trends, and standards.
• Frequent travel to client sites to perform onsite testing and auditing.
• Assist in developing new processes and procedures to improve the audit and assessment process.
• Possess valid drivers license.

Qualifications and Experience

• Firm knowledge of IT infrastructure and management
• Comprehensive understanding of:
  • Risk Management
  • Network Security
  • Information Security Policies and Procedures
• Understanding of audit functions and security controls
• Strong written and verbal technical and non-technical communication skills
• Project management and multitasking skills
• Professional appearance and behavior
• Strong people skills
• Have relevant Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM
• Experience performing BSA/ACH audits is a plus
• Experience in the Financial Industry or other highly regulated industries is a plus

Additional Details:

This is a full-time position. This role would require occasional travel. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. On rare occasions, this position may require some after-work hours due to workload or tight deadline.

Working Conditions

Primarily remote-based with some travel required. The role involves working with management, various business units, and clients to protect data and information from cyber-attacks. 

Physical Demands 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee frequently is required to sit, use keyboard and mouse (or alternative input device), use telephone, and drive.  Employee will frequently lift 0-10 lbs and occasionally lift, up to 50 lbs. 

Travel 

This position requires up to 25% travel. Valid driver’s license required. Must also qualify for SBS insurance coverage.
